1895

The Cerrón family took proprietorship of the land that encompasses the Viña Cerrón vineyard.

This is when they planted their first vineyards of the Monastrell variety.

1950

The Cerrón Family inaugurated a modest cellar, producing wine for local consumption.

1950- 1990

As their business prospered, the family purchased more land, allowing for the cultivation of other red grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Syrah, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, and the white variety of Chardonnay.

With over 6 decades of harvesting and care, the optimal grape conditions have been maximized, perfecting the quality of the fruit.

1990-2012

Thanks to family persistence in their pursuit of continuous improvement and innovative ideas like authenticating their  biodynamic procedures with an ‘organic farming’ certification in the early 1990’s, the Viña Cerrón trademark is now  synonymous with quality.

Today

Having won 20 international awards within the past 3 years alone, Viña Cerrón  has conquered wine lovers globally, while transcending the young and dynamic spirit transpired by the New Generation.
